Door handles on a rose

Door handles on a rose, in contrast to simple handles, consist of two shields . The lower shield is called a rosette , hence the name rosette fittings.

A handle or door ball is attached to the upper shield , and the second shield has a hole for locking.

The security mechanism usually works with a classic key, a cylinder or special locks used, among other things, for rose fittings on toilets.

Other types of rosette fittings are square rosette handles and round rosette handles
