Return, Refund, and Warranty Policy for Door Locks and Hardware

At Kovio, we take pride in delivering premium-quality door hardware. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase or experience a problem with your product, we’re here to help.


Right of Return and Exchange

You may return any unused door locks or hardware products within 30 days of receiving your order.

✅ Items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition

  • Complete with all accessories, screws, instructions, and packaging

🚫 We cannot accept returns for:

  • Products that are used, installed, scratched, or damaged

  • Missing accessories or user-modified items

To ensure a smooth return process, handle and inspect products carefully before installation.


Warranty Coverage

All Kovio door hardware products come with a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase.

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Faulty materials or workmanship

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear from regular use

  • Improper installation or misuse

  • Damage caused by external factors (e.g., water, fire, overloading)

  • Transport damage (must be claimed directly with the carrier)

If your product is defective within the warranty period, we will:

  • Repair it free of charge

  • Or replace it if repair is not possible

  • Or offer a refund, depending on stock and your preference

When a product is replaced, the warranty restarts from the date you receive the replacement.


Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at info@kovio.eu with:

    • Subject: “Return”

    • Order number

    • Reason for return (or description of the issue)

    • Photos of the product if defective or damaged

  2. We will reply with return instructions and confirmation.

  3. Send the product (at your cost) to our warehouse:

Refund Process

  • Refunds are processed within 7–14 days after we receive and inspect the item.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  • If you paid using "purchase on account" (e.g., Klarna), the refund will be processed through your payment provider.
