SINGLE KEY SYSTEM (common lock) - S
Means the use of one key for several doors where there is no it is necessary to limit the access of individual users. The most common cases of using the unification of inserts are on the entrance doors of apartments, where the upper additional lock is used. For family houses or smaller buildings, it is possible to unite all inserts to a common key (entrance doors, gates, garage doors, terrace, mailbox, etc.). There is no need to carry a bunch of keys.
Parts of the system can be double-sided and single-sided inserts, padlocks, mailbox locks, furniture locks. When combining four inserts, it is necessary to add 3x the price of the unification and the customer will receive 3 or 5 own keys for the entire system according to the selected security insert. Unification of inserts to a common key is only possible within one type of insert.
DETERMINATION OF THE EXACT DIMENSION OF THE CYLINDRICAL INSERT
To determine the exact size of the cylindrical insert, in addition to the thickness of the door, the use of fittings and/or rosette must also be taken into account (it must be added to the thickness of the door). For doors with a rebate, it is also necessary to take into account the shifted axial position of the center of the mortise We determine the size of the cylinder after installing the mortise lock, by first measuring the V - outward dimension (to the left of the center of the insert fixing screw in the mortise lock face) from the center of the insert fixing screw in the face of the mortise lock, and then the D - inwards dimension (to the right of the center of the insert fixing screw in the mortise lock face). measure the dimension only to the edge of the door (H and D). Subsequently, when you purchase fittings, our employees and/or business partners will calculate the length of the insert according to the type of fitting purchased.
The size of the cylindrical insert is graduated in 5 mm increments and we must choose it with regard to the fittings used. In the case of external, security or otherwise important doors for safety reasons, the size of the insert should be determined so that the cylindrical insert merges with the outer edge of the safety fittings, or so that it does not protrude more than 3 mm over the outer edge of the fitting from the V (exterior) side. In the case of overlapping fittings, it is necessary to measure the depth of the fitting (if it is not sliding). The seller is not responsible for a misaligned cylinder liner.
